Can i use glue for fish project?

-CAN i use non toxic glue or Elmer's glue to glue Popsicle sticks for fish tank fresh waterThere are several glues that are safe....



Plain Silicone sealant (No mould inhibitor)

Epoxy (2 part glues like Araldite)

Cynoacrylate (Superglue)

Hot melt glue gun.

Polystyrene wood glue (Gorilla Glue)



They are all waterproof and non-toxic once they are fully cured.



IanNo , you need to make sure that it does not contain certain chemicals as they will leech into the tank. Use hot glue. It's fish safe or you can get adhesive that does not contain mold retardant. The elmer's glue will not hold up in the tank either, it will eventually dissolve .Just because the glue is labeled non toxic does not mean it is non toxic to fish.
You can do it for the outside of the tank but not inside. There is a special adhesive for fish tanks sold at pet stores.
