How do i take care a baby bird?

-i found a baby bird how do i take care of it

its keeps cherping we gave it parakeet food but it wont stop cherping its drinks so much water it wont stop and its poops write after its drinks the water and it keeps opening his mouth so we can give it water whats wrong with i live some with no shelter, i really want to care for him plz give the tips you canIt's most probably illegal for you to take a bird the wild where you live. You need to find the nest, and put this bird back IMMEDIATELY. Its parents will be frantic now, because you have kidnapped their baby. You do not know what this brd eats in the wld, and you will more than likely kill it through a mix of good intentions and ignorance.



Put it back in the nest, or near to where you found it, in a safe place out of the reach of predators.



The parents cannot smell humans - that is simply an old wives tale, told by mothers to stop their kids from messing around with wildlife.



The parents can look after them better than you can hope to. Please do the right thing and put the bird back where you got it. Your conscience will never let you forget it if you kill this bird.

You really need to get this bird to an avian vet - you need to know what kind of bird it is n order to know what to feed it, and an avian vet will be able to give you a SAFE mite treatment for a bird of this age. An avian vet will be ale to tell you exactly what sort of handfeeding formula you need for this type of bird. The wrong diet can and often does kill young birds, Most vets do not charge to treat wildlife. It is essential that you have an avian vet examne the bird if it is to grow strong and healthy. Please do so ASAP.
