My dogs are gone and its all my fault?!?!?!?!?

-I don't know what to do D'X my sister came home to get a couch out of the shed so she put me in charge of the dogs but said i cant controll both of them but she said just hold them! But when she drove away the were so strong they ran of hands! ANd i chased them for like twenty minutes in 2 different neighborhoods and and across two streets and i lost them!!!! MY DOGS ARE GONE AND ITS MY FAULT. AND MY DAD WONT ANSWER THE PHONE. AND MY SISTER JUST SAID THAT THEY'll BACK. And i called my mom but she said just wait till she gets home,but something might happen to them by them!!!!!!! What if they never come back? Should I go looking for them?? D:Start phoning round vets and the animal control and see if either have been picked up.



Your dogs should be enough under control that they don't attempt to leave you when let loose. If you do get them back then train them.



I do hope they are ok.Go search for them up and down the streets calling their name. Also, you can ask your neighbors if they've seen the dogs. It's not much use staying home in case they return. They may come back, but if they do, they will still be there waiting for you when you return. As this is the case, check your house every now and then to make sure they haven't returned on their own.

My dog runs away all the time, and when we chase her it only makes it worse. Normally, when the dog escapes it's probably because they want to explore a bit but when you start chasing after them they think it's a game and will keep running away. If you have a gate in your house that is supposed to stay closed so that your dog doesn't escape, leave it open. Your dog will probably get tired, scared, or bored and want to come home so leave that gate open. Don't worry, it'll be fine. I hope your dog comes home safe.
I have a Mini Schnauzer, and he will run away any chance he gets!

I know how you feel, scared, angry, and frustrated. Don't give up, ask random people on the streets if the have seen a dog this small or big----, this color----, this breed-----. Call their names.

I have looked for my Schnauzer for over 3 hours, and didn't give up,he was gone for almost two days.

If you love them,don't give up!

You will feel like a million bucks when you get them back, trust me! :D

No definite answer. I WOULD SAY, stay at home possibly stay by the door with it open and wait till someone else gets home so someone can be home, whilst someone else goes looking and if you can't find them put up posters and whatnot. There is probably a number may an Animal rescue number you could call and notify them. Good luck, I hope you find them ok!
Just wait for your sister or dad or someone to come home. While you wait, try making some "Missing Dog" posters, and post them around everywhere. While putting up the posters call their names. Maybe put their favorite food, outside your house and look out the window to see if they come back. Good luck, and I hope you find your dogs!
Okay...if your sister said they would come back, just call them where you last saw them, leave ur dad a message or txt that ur calling and maybe tell people that if they see them get a hold of them (if they have tags call that number) i guess. if ur in a subdivision they wont get hurt i don't think...no cars would be going fast enough to not stop i guess. good luck!
Just put out food, and start calling them louding, banging and shaking food etc. Wait until your family Is home... Hopefully the will return on own accord...
These dogs will come back if they're hungry, tired or bored. If she knows that they come back, then chances are they will.

Relax. Your dogs are smarter than you are, and will return shortly. Watch for them. Call them.
Dogs are smart and know where home is they will most likely come back. I know though that sitting around waiting isn't going to make you feel any better what you can do is call the neighbors, friends, and the vet to notify them. If they have a favorite place to go on walks or a local dog park check there but if you go looking make sure there's someone at house in case they come home while your looking if their still missing tomorrow or even later today posters are a good idea and sadly reward always catches peoples eye but they should come home and Its not your fault dogs are strong and if they want something or to go somewhere they will get away from your grasp it's best to put them in a different room with the door closed or tied up to something stronger then they are.
