-My dog was given an injection for an injury she had on her leg. We had to give her medicine at 4:30PM. Today, my mother came home, asking why the medicine had almost gone. I explained to her I'd given her medicine. Me and Dad were oblivious to the fact Mum had given her medicine this morning.
We are taking her to the vets now and giving her something to protect her stomach. Is she in any danger now? We gave her Metacam Inflammatories. For her 15kg weight, it was 15mlCall an emergency veterinarian. This is a situation where your dog is going to be painfully and quickly bleeding internally.
It's not your fault, you didn't know.
If you get to the vet on time, you could save her.
Good luck to you and your dog!
PS: Don't give her food or water.you should defiantly take your dog to the vet the vet will know what to do. if he lives your lucky . Things like this happen when there is a break down in Communication. I would start a log to show when, how much and who gave the medication, so this can never happen again.
Call a EMERGENCY VET HOSPITAL they will tell you EXACTLY WHAT TO DO
