Is it legal to own a venomous scorpion?

-Are they legal to own?



I had a tarantula once.Yes, as long as it doesn't pose a threat to any one. (Has to be in a cage at all times and you can't take it outside of your house unless it is in a cage where it can not stick any appendages through) So a glass cage where there is no possibility of it hurting anyone, where you will get the scorpion, I don't know who will actually sell you one in the USYup its legal to keep venomous scorpion. Only exotic animals and birds are illegal to keep. Make sure you have first aid kit with you in case your pet bites you.
Technically ALL scorpions are venomous, just some aren't harmful to humans. Same with tarantulas. Some species may be outlawed in your state. Check local state and county bylaws before acquiring anything
