PLEASE ANSWER THIS!!?

-i just want to say thanks for reading this i have a small inquiry i wanted to make about petstores if you don't know anything about this subject you can leave now.. otherwise my question is pretty simple.. WOULD any petstore purchace mealworms from me?? i have bred live mealworms and have many to sell around 1000 and i could sell them relatively cheap.. but my question is where should i sell them?? ebay?? i mean would petstores buy them?? what are my options scince i don't need this many scince i only have one snake one scorpion and a turantula and these animals don't need near as many mealworms as these guys reproduce up to 20000 eggs per mealworm beatle so yeah.. please answer this andi would really apriciate it "only if you know forsure" don't feel like going all the way to petsmart just to have them tell me no or calling and them embarassing me because EVERYBODY knows they wouldn't buy them.. so yeah thats my question will any petstores buy mealworms?? and if anyone knows any good places to sell them please let me know thanks..You'd have to ask the local ones that don't have franchises and producers. We had over 300 tree frogs that we were going to sell to this one pet store, but unfortunately his air conditioning shut down and he wasn't able to purchase them due to the heat.

So yah it is possible, but I mean it's hard to find them, we called like all the pet shops in our area (i think it's about 20) and only one wanted them. So yah, get out your phone book, write a small professional speech and start dialing.No stors buy mealworms of you!
No corporate chain would buy the meal worms. They already have contracted vendors who supply their stores. You would also need a much larger volume of mealworms to supply a corporate chain. If you have local pet stores near you, they may buy mealworms from you. If you are looking to sell them locally, I would use craigslist over e-bay as it targets your close area. You may also want to look into selling them to nearby bait shops. However I am not sure how much of the sale of mealworms is federally regulated either. So I am not sure if stores that purchase these mealworms have to do so from a licensed dealer.
