Why does my kitten pee in the same spot?

-She uses her litterbox to poop. And i dont know if she pees there too, but she pees in the same corner, like once a day. sometimes she skips a day but thats her pee spot. Why does she do that? And what can i do to make her stop.Shes 7 weeks old. its a female.She returns to where her scent is. And litter box avoidance can suggest a medical condition.



At seven weeks, she does need a health assessment by a vet, and is close to time for her first booster vaccine.



As far as cleaning the spot of all scent, I am providing a link. Vinegar and water is my preferred method.rub her nose and face in it, if you catch her doing it or if its still wet when you notice it scold her thoroughly and rub her face in it. if there was an animal that lived in the home before you she could be smelling where they left their scent..... another problem could be that the cleaner your using to clean the floor after she pees there might actually be encouraging her to pee there again. make sure it isn't a cleaner that would do that
She does it because it has her smell, try cleaning the spot with bleach if its not in the litter box. To make her stop there's a spray you can buy in the stores, there's different ones so you'll have to read up on them and decide which one you want to try.
Get some spray for cat pee .. Then put her litter box in that corner ..
