Why does my cat always have a "kick" in her tail? I have seen loads of other cats who don't have one.?

-A kink in an animal's tail comes from being broken and then healing crooked. This usually happens at birth or when they're very young. If it is a kick, my cats tail does this a lot - it is not unusual.
Kink? Like a bent spot? Some cats are born that way. Others have had an injury somewhere along the line that didn't heal properly.
